Buddhas Skull Found in China

A Buddhist relic which may contain part of the skull of the Buddha has been found in China, in a crypt beneath a temple in Nanjing. The golden shrine that dates back over a thousand years, was inscribed with a message stating that it contained a piece of the Buddhas skull--retrieved after his cremation. Though the relic is currently being kept by monks at the Qixia temple in China, there is little way to scientifically verify its authenticity. We explore the possible piece of Buddhist history on the Lip News with Nik Zecevic and Jo Ankier.
