Baltimore Jail Illegally Keeping Teens in Solitary

Teens are being illegally kept in solitary confinement for up to 143 days by the Baltimore City Detention Center as they await trial for adult charges, according to a report by the U.S. Justice Department's Division of Civil Rights. Lengthy isolation has been proven to seriously damage the mental health and brain development of teenagers.
