In a future where robots are integrated into daily life, police sergeant Jack Ramsay leads a special unit that handles robotic malfunctions. When a domestic robot murders a family, Ramsay discovers it was no accident. He and his new partner must hunt down a dangerous criminal named Luther, an evil scientist who creates chips that turn helpful robots into deadly weapons for terrorists. The chase is on to stop Luther before his killer robots cause more chaos.
