After being reluctantly moved to the small town of Carterville, Leah Weaver teams up with two new friends, Marshy and Tessa. The trio discovers the local legend of Silas Carter's cursed gold is real. When a group of high school bullies steals a diary containing clues to the treasure's location, the friends embark on an adventure to find the gold first. They must solve riddles and overcome obstacles to destroy the treasure and its evil spirit before it's too late on Halloween night.
